About me
Hi! I recently completed my MSc in Artificial Intelligence at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. My master's thesis, supervised by Shujian Yu, focused on multimodal learning for MRI data (thesis PDF) and was sponsored by the NIAA research institute. I am currently working with Leiden University Medical Center on semi-supervised segmentation using foundation-model embeddings (e.g. UNI2).
Previously I earned my BSc at Warsaw University of Technology and spent around two years at Huawei building deep learning models for Automatic Speech Recognition. If you'd like to collaborate, feel free to reach out at fjakub.off@gmail.com.

Research Interests
My research centers on efficient and trustworthy foundation models, with a focus on applications in the medical domain. In particular, I am interested in:
- Efficient foundation models and their applications to medical data
- Strategies for multimodal fusion
- Pretraining of natively multimodal models
- Information-theoretic approaches to training deep neural networks
